David Chiu

Welcome to my home page! I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Washington State University in Vancouver, WA. Prior to this, I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University in June 2010. My interests include data-intensive computing, data management, scientific workflows, and green and cloud computing. I am a member of the ACM, IEEE, ASEE, and Upsilon Pi Epsilon. I am currently Chair of the CS Graduate Studies Committee and Advisor to the Vancouver Student Chapter of IEEE.

I am currently looking for energetic students (both undergrad and graduate) to help me with my research. Drop me a note with your CV/resume if you are interested.
